EXPM 3 Light Anoxia Disinfestation Chamber

The EXPM 3 Light is an anoxia chamber designed for the continuous and systematic treatment of books, documents, works of art and other archival objects.

The anoxic disinfestation process

An ecological, user-friendly disinfestation method. It has no harmful side effects on the objects treated and no risk to the health of operators or users. An inert gas, usually nitrogen, kills insects by asphyxiation and dehydration, at every stage of development – eggs, larvae and adults.

Working with the EXPM 3 Light

• Atmosphere parameters inside the chamber can be set and controlled, providing a suitable low-oxygen atmosphere for disinfestation
• Intuitive, automated operation and control
• Capacity per treatment: 50 to 60 linear metres of books or A5 documents, or approximately 20 to 30 linear metres of A4 documents
